CAPT, QRC, RRI, RIO
Capitan Silver aka CAPT released the assays for 12 more holes from the recently-expanded drill campaign at its Cruz de Plata property on Durango Mexico. Probably the best result was 1541 g/t AgEq over 1.5m, within a broader interval of 201.65 g/t AgEq over 18.3m in an extension to the Jesus Maria vein, but there were many other outstanding intersections among the 12 holes.
Jesus Maria remains open to the east, at depth, and down plunger, plus CAPT discovered a new zone displaced by a fault with an assay of 75.91 g/t AgEq over 1.5m, within a broader zone of 117.69 g/t AgEq over 7.6m, and similar high grade assays were drilled at the Gully Fault and New zones.
28 more holes are in the lab with assays pending, and drilling continues.

Queen's Road Capital aka QRC, which generates income primarily by investing in convertible debentures for mining companies, announced that its annual dividend, to be paid in a month, has been increased by 10%. They also announced that as of next year they are switching to paying dividends semi-annuall. They also reported that more than 50% of its shares, mostly held by Australian mining billionaires, have enrolled in its new DROP programme, thus building QRC's cash stash for new transactions.

During the 18 years that Riverside Resources aka RRI has used the prospect generator model, it has concentrated on PMs with occasional forays into BMs. With this PR they are announcing a new focus on REEs. The focus actually started with the acquisition of the Revel REE prospect in SE BC two years ago, and continued withe acquisition of the nearby Taft REE prospect last year.
Now the efforts are ramping up. This will start with mapping and sampling and geophysics to generate drill targets at Revel, in addition to beginning permitting. RRI is also drawing on their extensive network of contacts in Canada and Meixo to identify other REE prospects which fit into RRI's approach.
I have enough confidence in RRI to think that the REE initiative will in time bear fruit.

The IKN newsletter released another very detailed look at its top pick Rio2 aka RIO which is starting up its Fenix Gold mine in Chile. If you want more detail you'll have to subscribe, but I will mention a few tidbits he gleaned about RIO recently buying a large block of RYR shares for $4.5M. First, it was intended to signal that all is well with the Fenix build, that they have plenty of money even before starting production, but also it was an opportunistic purchase to make money. Indeed, the RYR shares are already worth almost double the $4.5M Rio paid for them a few weeks ago. I will also mention that FWIW, IKN has raised its target price for RIO to $4.13.
Saville continues to maintain that PMs, which are extremely overbought, and PM stocks are very close to a multi-month high. |
