The issue that is bugging me is that the run in stocks may look good number wise but it represents inflation more than value.
For all we know the printing machines may be going full tilt right now, for every 1000 dollars they report they print 10,000
Having a million dollars in an account might count for something when bread is a buck a loaf - but bread will come close to ten bucks a loaf next year and hyper inflation has made bread worth more than an entire years wages in some past occasions and countries.
Perhaps the run on the DOW is more about inflation than value - its not a bubble its a great big illusion
