Arizona storm damages update: Multiple swift water rescues continue around central Arizona as people continue attempting to drive across flooded washers. Even as the weather has improved, washes remain flooded with fast moving water, including across many roadways in both remote and urban areas. There is good news for the Globe/Miami area. US Hwy 60 has been partially reopened with one stretch having one lane available. Travel will be open for intervals in each direction. Early reports of damages were overstated as to the emergency, though extensive repairs will be required over the next couple of years.
