I am mixing ideas across most portfolios.

One idea I had:

Many people don't like to own an ETF in conjunction with an individual company which happens to represent a good portion of the ETF value. For example, SMH and NVDA. NVDA is 18.69% of the fund value. In my case I want that extra exposure by owning both SMH and NVDA. The ETF alone wouldn't represent a full position in some portfolios, and in others, they need the extra growth by having an overweight exposure.
