If anyone has spent any time in China, you'll realize it's the most capitalistic place on earth, with brutal competition.

Anywhere there are Chinese people in Asia, there is thriving business and trade. Same for Indian people. These people have been merchants for thousands of years. Something like that just doesn't vanish in a couple of generations.
