Yes, Q had a lot going for them from the jump. I'm sure you remember it was some pretty thin soup until Ericsson capitulation. What always bothered me was management never issuing bonds, preferreds with convertible features. Instead they diluted the shareholders, time and time again. I get it, but still. Then Jac, Vit, and Sal went down to the crossroads and made a deal with the devil. (Sorry Robert Johnson). In exchange for a small fortune in the form of licensing fees and royalties they gave up wild extensive fortunes producing world changing products. Now Qcom business model is a Gordian knot and nobody can untie it. That's why we trade like a garden variety electric utility. Qualcomm Power and Light.
