I bought SIVR and KSLV as pure play silver holdings SIVR for it's low management fee, KSLV to produce some income.
Silver is also held in my portfolio diversifiers, EDGH, CTA, KMLM.
I'm not recommending buying silver without due diligence, I remember what happened back in 1979 or 80 when silver soared when the Hunt brothers tried to corner the market. The Commodities Exchange and government changed the rules and silver crashed.

Buyer beware.
Edit: I feel better about holding gold as it is a better hold for debasement, silver is more of a possible timely trade
