Well that was easier than I thought it would be. Saved me some time and money, at least for another year.

I got to it last night. First they had some updates for me to download. Then I had to start a Microsoft account. They sent a code to my e-mail and when I got it from my phone I noticed there was spam type e-mail I don't normally see.

When I got done I turned on the TV and saw the wi fi didn't work. Went to the regulars channels and they didn't work. Got back to the computer and it was down too.

At this point I figured it had something to do with Microsoft. But really I couldn't make a connection on how that would happen. So I went to sleep and the next morning everything was back to normal. I guess the cable was down for some unknown reason. All's well that ends well.
