Kidney stones

I think drinking water's the key. Up to a gallon a day. Had my first one about 26 years old. I peed bright red one evening after being high and slightly drunk. No pain yet but a total freakout. So doctor wanted to do exploratory surgery with a very thin garden hose. Told me I had some stone move around that caused the bleed. I got a list of foods to avoid (WTH are lamb's quarters and chenopodium?) and told to stay super hydrated. Also told me I had a double set of ureters. That evidently spared me a lot of pain, as I've never had more than acute discomfort as a rock made its way out,
