Here we go again: Russia-Ukraine: President Trump said he planned to meet in person with President Vladimir V. Putin of Russia to discuss a cease-fire in Moscow’s war against Ukraine, after a phone call with the Russian leader on Thursday that he said yielded “great progress.” Mr. Trump, who is set to host President Volodymyr Zelensky of Ukraine at the White House on Friday, said on social media that high-level American and Russian officials would meet next week, and that he would subsequently meet with Mr. Putin in Budapest, but did not specify the timing of a summit.
