Venezuela has had several terrible dictators, so no loss there, but the idea that Trump is using the power of the US to support right wing politics, dictators, and rich oligarchs around the world is very worrying.
Trump and Vance were very involved in Germany's election giving speeches, for the right wing party, and also in Brasil, Canada, Poland, Slovakia, Argentina and now Venezuela. Trump said if Milei doesn't win he will not support the other candidate.
He is not even hiding his efforts, and he is increasingly embolden as not one is stepping up to reign him in?
He is even running ads in airports blaming the Democrats for the shutdown in direct violation of the Hatch act.
Anyway, all this chaos has the world on edge, and rightfully so.
