One of PooTin's goals was to "demilitarize" Ukraine and turn it into a buffer zone that can help with RuZZia's own security needs. This, according to PooTin and his merry cuckolds, was necessary to counter NATO eXpAnSiOnIsM.
But not only is Ukraine holding strong in the face of enormous pressure, both on the military side and on the civilian side (a.k.a. RuZZia's unanswered war crimes), they have also built up a very impressive military industrial complex of their own.
71.4% of Ukraine's defense expenditures are for domestically-made weapons and military supplies.
Ukraine has partnered with Denmark, Germany, and Poland to manufacture weapons in a highly decentralized manner. That makes it hard for RuZZia to disrupt with long-range strikes.
In 2022, less than 10% of Ukraine's weapons were domestically produced. This rose to 35% in 2023 and 40% in mid-2025. Zelensky says that Ukraine's goal is 50% by end of 2025, and current trends show that the goal will indeed be met.
In other words, Ukraine will end up being one of the MOST militarized nations on Earth, and they will be right on the border of RuZZia.

Meanwhile, who is RuZZia relying on for their own weapons? Iran and North Korea, two countries that hardly strike fear into anyone in the geopolitical scene. Iran was recently neutered by tiny Israel, while North Korea continues to be the laughing stock of Asia.
Great job, PooTin. Instead of demilitarizing Ukraine, you ended up militarizing it forever, with a population that now collectively HATES your guts.
