I see your point. It is interesting to see the UK is not backing up their currency with gold either. Neither is Switzerland but I guess they are not worried about backing up their banking system. I am surprised that the US is holding so much gold since we divorced ourselves from backing up our currency with gold a long time ago. Good info ... I actually know very little about gold reserves. Do we still have it all stashed at Fort Knox?
