RE: Buffered funds

I posted about them here and on SA

" Today I purchased CPRO and CPSO, these are 1 year 100% buffered funds. I purchased these to replace some of my SGOV and other near cash assets. The current cap on CPRO is 7.76%, while CPSO is 6.17%. Since these were 100% buffered my only loss if held one year would be the .69% fees.
So I'll get the first 7.76% of IWM and 6.17% of SPY if they appreciate that much in a year. These will reset in one year with 100% downside and a new cap.
I plan to buy the monthly 100% buffers on the 1st of their respective month. I'm not sure these will outperform SGOV or MMs but I like their chances."
I also bought BALT since that comment

I also posted about My bitcoin position now being held in a buffered fund here
