Overbought?

Not sure. There’s a lot of geopolitical risk in the system. And the feds want to loosen as it seems certain that tariffs and trade negotiations will result in increased inflation.

Did I mention increased government debt?

All the signs point to a stable or increased price of gold, especially in view of increased central bank buying.

I am not a gold bug because it will do nothing for years, then boom for a short time. Then, nothing again for years. In the meantime, opportunity costs such as humongous NASDAQ returns are incurred. I have some gold and silver coins and a smidgen of newly-acquired FNV because of its management and dividend, but a serious percentage of portfolio in precious metals? Never again.
