Bezeq Selects TTI's Traffic Simulator System for Israel's National Telecommunications Network
PETACH TIKVA, Israel--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Feb 25, 1998--Bezeq, Israel's National Public Telecommunication Operator (PTO) has selected TTI Team
Telecom (NASDAQ: TTILF - news; ''TTI'') to provide it with a highly advanced Telecommunications Network Traffic Simulator . This new system introduces an
innovative simulation technology which provides improved network reliability, avoids over-engineering and optimizes utilization of network infrastructure. The
continued growth of Bezeq's network is more easily predicted with the Netrac simulation tool. Implementation will take place over three months beginning in
mid-March.
The Netrac Traffic Simulator is a tool that gives the network planners and traffic engineers the ability to analyze network reactions to various 'what-if' scenarios, and
adjust plans accordingly. Traffic simulation generates valuable information about the behavior, efficiency and survivability of the network under varying conditions.
This allows telecom operators to ensure quality of service more efficiently despite abnormal conditions affecting network performance.
Throughout its long and rewarding association, TTI Telecom has developed, installed and supported Bezeq's national control center and its regional control centers.
TTI has also deployed several major systems at Bezeq, including Traffic Management, Data Line Testing, Quality of Service and Voice Mail Systems.
