Little OT but that is ok. Hope folk in your area are recovering. Always feel for those that get wiped out in these natural disasters. I have never had to experience that. Came close to a tornado a couple times, they are highly selective.

I read today that ICE Barbie is not being overly cooperative. Maybe a matter of opinion.

Some Alaskans are dealing with misery as we speak. Been following along.



A lot of L48 folk are probably not up on how 'recent' many Alaskans have had to become part of the modern world. Some do fine, for others still a bit of a struggle.

Another really good book, not only a WWII book, but it tells a lot about Alaskan history. An easy read, but enjoyable. WWII brought Alaska into the modern world, more or less. And a lot of folk did not realize it but US mainland was invaded during WWII, the gov't didn't spend a lot of time advertising such. I guess technically AK was not a state then, but ......
