But it is more or less about everything hence it means nothing.

Case in point. The only way anyone could make this statement is if they are, in fact a fascist. Granted, each individual characteristic can be found in other political systems. But that is true of much of human behavior. It is the collection of them that makes it fascism. If it checks all of your boxes, well...

I can see why someone might be in denial. Others are loud and proud, though.

But still, you use the term in reference to Trump, I do in reference to Biden, and we get to do that because 98% of Americans have no fucking idea what it means.

I use the term correctly for Trump and can enumerate the characteristics he displays. You can't do the same for Biden except maybe for one thing or another that doesn't uniquely define fascism. Whether or not the majority knows what it means is irrelevant. Which you had to lie about to make your point. While not a unique characteristic of fascism, it is a characteristic of an asshole.

It is and has been a waste of effort is because you are an ardent fascist and find the label embarrassing. So you descend into weaselhood and try to pretend it is an ambiguous term that is meaningless.

Because your feelings are hurt.
