Not just a difficult to accept proposition for the Ukraine but for all of Western Europe (NATO minus US). The West knows by now that such a “peace” would only be temporary. Putin has made it crystal clear that he will settle for nothing less than total territorial and/or political control over the Ukraine and that’s just the start. All ex Soviet Union / now EU or NATA countries are next.
