As I just mentioned, the only news I follow today is pretty much Matt Taibbi. But I've been busy with other things the last few weeks. On further review, Taibbi has had a really bad week having suffered an apparently serious fall, so, his regular commentary has been off-the-air. Too bad. But the point is that "journalism" as we once knew it is dead. There are no more David Brinkleys or even Peter Jennings. It is sad, but there is no truth, other than Bret Baier who is consistently honest in his reporting but constrained to a one hour show that is mostly commercials. I know of no other responsible journalism going on in the USA. So, there are allegedly 2800 pages, yet, it is too dangerous for us to see -- we have to have read to us by highly capable "journalists" (LMAO). "We can't simply post it for truth-seekers. We must carefully parse it for you because the truth is just too hard to handle. So, you'll have to take our words for it!" You can see how that might cause a bit of skepticism, no?
