Florida should rank higher, though. DeSantis cooked the mortality figures. If a person died from COVID in Florida and was a snowbird or other tourist, they didn't count them, claiming they should be counted in their home state(s). He fired a person because they refused to cook figures for him. Much as Trump does. It is indisputable that Trump caused more American deaths than any other single individual. Even exceeded Hitler, and we fought a major war.
