Well I was fortunate to take a full year of journalism classes while attending WSU and the Edward R. Murrow School of Communications. On my way to a BSEE.

Sorry, I have no appreciation for 99.99% of journalism. It is common sense stuff we were taught in high school after learning the basics in 8th grade civics.

I do have great respect for engineering of all stripes, so that is a great accomplishment anyway you look at it.

My gold standard for television news is the PBS NewsHour.
And THAT is the problem with journalism generally, as well as the abject lack of honesty in journalism that is predominant throughout this country and much of the world.

I mean no offense, but if you believe anything you hear on PBS, you lack the objectivity to be in journalism, which is true of a good 99% of so-called journalists today. So, it is great you became an engineer instead.

I could never be unbiased at reporting. I'd be too busy telling the audience they're idiots if they believe that nonsense!
