Never had a touch pad apart, so not sure of the circuitry but if continues = maybe throw a mouse on it = it'll recon it and 'should disable' touch pad and see what /if still happens maybe

All else fails, gotta be circuits a big possible. [if not virus]

Stuff can get stuck, as many moons ago, I'd let Yukon Jack help me on a computer ;-) And we he spilled stuff = sticky as he** keyboard -smile-
