First time I've seen EconPop, superb, entertaining and informative.

I forwarded to some gold mining friends who are blowing their retirement savings placer mining.

Their story goes like this, they have proven $15 million USD in a Klondike creek, covered by 35 + feet of overburden, and it will cost them $15 million USD to extract the gold.

For some reason these numbers do not deter them in the slightest.
