Right. You have one source for news and he hasn't posted in a while. Something you just discovered. That's not what I tried to convey. I believe the staff at Racket News is around 15-20 people, so stories come out daily. Last I heard, subscribers topped 500,000. So, they do keep going. However, I particularly appreciate the weekly video with Walter Kirn, which was cancelled for the last week due to Taibbi's accident.
However, it is a fact that I made the decision to rely almost exclusively on Racket News because there was so much crap floating around during the Biden years, and I really didn't have time to pay attention to all of it. Taibbi is about as perfect a newsman as you can find, in terms of bias; there is none. Able to get to the story and articulate the important stuff accurately and responsibly. Something that is very difficult to find today.
The most important reason for abandoning traditional news outlets is they either lightened up on Biden (Fox) or just downright lied (all others) about how bad his condition was. Democrat idiots talked about the "25th Amendment" for Trump who was totally on top of things (first AND second terms), yet no one said, "Hey, we have to get rid of Biden: He puts the nation at risk". That failure should have been the top story for all four years of Biden. His incompetence was astounding. We had a group of near teeagers running the country for four years.
I do believe Bret Baier continues to present the best TV news of anyone on TV considering truth, honesty, and accuracy. But they know that and have loaded it down with ads which I don't tolerate. I record all TV news shows that might interest me (like all Sunday morning news programming on all channels) but only view them if I find out someone of interest was being interviewed. I find none of those shows interesting enough to spend more than a couple minutes on them. They delete after a month.
For real time events coverage I usually listen to Agenda Free TV unless video is essential. He tends not to have video coverage.
I would never watch anything on MSNBC or 60 Minutes under any circumstances. And Houston local news is worthless on all channels. I'm very tired of the fake news delivered by the Left.
These are my choices as someone who chooses to stay informed by only consuming factual news. I will not read any newspaper because they are all garbage. And I will not consume television other than what I've discussed here. I don't know if or when that will change; not for the near future I'm sure. |
