From the comments on the video it is clear that many viewers didn't know that this was not Buffett giving a single talk on gold, as indeed I did not at first. I have mixed feelings about it. On the one hand, since Buffett did indeed say these things about gold, it's a good idea to put them together to let people know what he thought. On the other hand, packaging his words like this with a faked video leaves a bad taste in the mouth - there is an intent to deceive. I think most people do not read the text accompanying videos, and would miss the disclaimer.

It's concerning that now people with bad intent are able to make very convincing fake videos, without disclaimers (I don't mean that this one is in that category.)
