I doubt it would have changed it at all.

People are pissed as capitalism has turned into corporatism and destroyed the middle class.

Conservatives are pissed.
Liberals are pissed.
Independents are pissed.

And they all want someone to fight, so corporatism has given them someone to fight. Each other.

AI is the final nail in the coffin of capitalism. Corporatism must deflect the anger away from itself, to anything else. There are many things they are trying out.

They own all the media, all the AI. They think they are in complete control. Can direct public opinion anyway they want to.

Problem is the anger will not go away.

This is how revolutions start.
