"Slava Ukraini" degenerates, who are cheering for more of Ukrainian men to be fed into a meatgrinder are having hard time this weekend since there is a glimmer of light that the meatgrinder could be stopped.

The thing they are missing is that Trump is trying to call Putin's bluff. Putin's bluff was that he would agree to a ceasefire if Ukraine military vacated the remainder of Donbas still under control of Ukraine.

Giving up Donbas and freezing the lines is the best outcome from 2025 forward Ukraine will ever get. Using round numbers, losing the 20% of Ukraine is a far better than using the 40% of Ukraine, as is the likely outcome in the future.

Putin bluff going to Alaska was to offer this (ceasefire for the rest of Donbas), knowing the Ukraine / EU / UK are led by imbeciles, who will reject it. Trump and Witcoff can see through the bluff, are trying to call it while it is still on the table.
