CLF. Thanks. Saw the stock rise in my portfolio, but didn't read the news. Stocks associated with mining prospects for rare-earth metals are in a speculative boom now, of course. But now too a few coal miners have moved from dull, plodders to almost market darlings as they announce plans or interest in developing rare-earth possibilities from their deposits. And with the government giving contracts/money to some operators, this has brightened the hopes of the rest. CLF is fortunate here to not just be a steel producer, but also to own several mines that supply the raw materials. If CLF ever gets any sort of contract or funding from the government for investigating its rare-earth potential, this will pop its stock even further.
