All energy is local (just like politics). It was ridic that NatGas was going for $1.50/MMBtu's a couple winters ago while people in Asia were paying $20. Same for the people in the EU paying $15-$25.

Eventually with enough export capacity, the US should even things out a bit, and the days of cheap NatGas in the US will be over.

The interesting thing is that because of the need for NatGas, the frackers in the Permian Basin aren't going to slow down crude production even with prices getting close to production cost.
