From the research I have done, the collapse of fiat currencies would be a catastrophe. Most people would lose much if not all of their savings, most companies would go bankrupt in the process, and it is hard to see the US and many other countries surviving the process. It would likely trigger wars and revolutions, maybe even the final nuclear war that wipes out life in earth above the bacterial level.

Be careful what you wish for.

I am putting in a category with the huge and overdue earthquake that will inevitably devastate Vancouver and a number of other cities along the Pacific coast. I just hope that when or if either happens, I hope I am no longer around to suffer through the consequences.
