Inode, I have a good idea on how agricultural markets work. It's one the reasons why the stereotype of farmers being dumb "unedumucated" hicks isn't exactly fair.

Even then, they are unable to find new markets for soybeans. Trump's tariffs are having a detrimental effect on their ability to sell. It's all over the news:

It's also the reason why Trump is looking to bailout these farmers.

I'm not a big fan of bailouts, and I'm even less of a fan when said bailouts are only done for politics as opposed to being a part of an overall strategy. Trump simply has no strategy.

That's why his bailout of Argentina, combined with his proposed bailout of American soybean farmers, is completely bass-ackwards. There is nothing "America First" about it. It's all "Trump First."
