we have a pole-mounted distribution transformer. During the winter with a pretty good amount of snow on the ground -- it blew. The electrical cooperative we take service from -- came out with a bucket truck and promptly got it stuck in our front yard. Then some guys called for backup -- they got someone to bring in side-by-side -- rode a new transformer up to the pole -- then they winched it up the pole with a pulley set. Set the new transformer -- cut us back in. We were out of power for about 5 hours. They had to get a tow truck to pull their bucket truck out of our yard to the drive.
