Oh, yes, I remember that story well! David Cone, now on ESPN, always seems to drop in legendary David Wells stories as the two are good friends. My uncle's friend started Starter Sports in New Haven. Back in the late 70s when I was in HS, he got me this really plush Starter Yankees satin jacket. I took it to college with me one year. When I went to pack up to go home, it was gone. Oh well. One of the top guys at Legends Hospitality lives here. He always drops off boxes of Yankees clothes and collectibles at our Challenger games. Great guy. No, I never take any of that stuff (I know you were thinking that!). My sports collectibles these days are the sporting events I'm involved in livestreaming... not the pro teams. The only pro stuff I still have are the pennants I collected as an usher at Giants games for two years at the Yale Bowl. - Jeff
