I almost caught a series-clinching game-winning WS HR! OK, so the HR just tied the game. And even though the Yankees eventually won, it wasn't the series clincher. And, while we're at it, I was one deck above. But, that's just splitting hairs, no?!!! :)
Been 20+ years since I (probably) watched a replay. I can assure you, in no way shape or form did announcer Joe Buck capture the excitement of that moment. Such a shame. This commenter did:

Not to go on a mini-rant, but US sports announcers, unlike those in Europe, must have it drilled into them to keep whatever excitement they have short-lived. Whereas as a fan, you are yelling "Holy f'ing sh!t" over and over.
