A little note about how I trade.
I don't trade support/resistance/trend/etc as most people understand them. And I certainly don't trade "patterns" of stock prices.
I trade the momentum within the context of the above.
In other words, is the stock behaving right given the trend and support/resistance levels. Yes, then follow the trend. No, take a counter trend position with a tight stop.

This means that I can't really tell in advance where to buy or sell a stock. I can only tell what changes in momentum and trend would have me buy or sell it.

When I say that I can't read BTC, it means that it's too choppy in both momentum and trend for me. I can filter out the noise if I look at weekly chart, but that leaves too much lag and swing for my type of stocks (or even for my risk tolerance in trading BTC itself). Hence my decision to stay away from it.
