Anyone here heard of a small cap company called LAES?

My daughter has a position and was suggesting it as a small growth position. It's only around 5 bucks and apparently they make Cryptography chips that will be required in the US and the EU by 2030....or at least that's what I'm hearing.

Maybe a chance for a quick double?

Another one she mentioned is GIG, which looks like a really small energy related company but according to SSDs "About", its seems like a small shell company that is trying to effect a merger. Market cap is only 364mln so I'm gonna pass on that one.
