Yeah, my thought was for the folks who need supplemental 02. Also, it takes more than a few min for your body to get acclimated to lower O2 levels (as I recall 1-3 days), so I doubt you'd suddenly be out of breath/light-headed when you opened the door.

I've got a small aircraft (non-pressurized) and while I can run sub 12.5K without supplemental O2, If I am going to be up near that altitude, or even over 10K for longer periods, I'll often run O2 as you can get headaches, etc. I know some folks who start wearing above 5-6K for the same reason (and always at night).
