You can tell us what you think of the Canada Revenue Agency.

Here are the highlights on a bombshell Auditor General report just released about the CRA.

The Auditor General found that CRA “responses to general individual-tax questions were accurate only 17 per cent of the time.” That means the CRA gives Canadians the wrong answer to questions about their individual taxes 83 per cent of the time.

When people ask the CRA about business taxes, the CRA gives accurate information only 54 per cent of the time.

The Auditor General found that Canadians were only able to get a CRA agent on the phone 32 per cent of the time.

There were 4,547 employees working at call centres last year – an increase of 1,030 employees since 2019.

The Auditor General’s report is great, but we need to hear from the real experts: YOU. This is your chance to tell us whether the CRA is serving you well or not. Your answers set our direction.

Politicians and media pundits are giving their opinions on the CRA and what the government should do to fix the problem. But the Canadian Taxpayers Federation works for taxpayers like YOU. And that’s why we want to know what you think of the CRA so we can better hold the government accountable to YOU.

THANK YOU for taking the time to give us your insight on the CRA.

All the best,

Franco Terrazzano
Federal Director
Canadian Taxpayers Federation

P.S.: If you’re all in on fighting taxes, you might like setting up monthly donations to the Canadian Taxpayers Federation. Automatically chipping in means that every time you open an email about a hot new campaign, you don’t need to find your credit card – you’re already in the fight. And you’ll get perks like The Taxpayer Magazine and insider emails from CTF President Scott Hennig. It’s easy to set up on our secure site: taxpayer.us1.list-manage.com
