No, I've never worked in a body or paint shop.
I do know that stainless is a great material that holds up exceptionally well, but looks pretty bland over the years. So, if I were buying a CT, I would definitely get a professional wrap and expect to have to replace that every few years. But the body will last for a very long time.
I live in a town where unimaginable amounts are wasted on expensive cars. So, I don't find it usual, but it would never be right for a miser like me.
The biggest drawback is that if I wanted a diesel pickup truck, I would just need to buy one of those. |
