CJ, Trump will have to implement a massive bailout if the war ends for Putin to have any chance of surviving it. I think RuZZia can survive if PooTin ends the war this year or next. All he has to do is declare "victory" and claim that he saved RuZZia from an "existential crisis." The zombified RuZZian population will go along with the charade, and PooTin's olicucks can start the process of deleveraging their debt and rebuilding their own enterprises.
It will, of course, be a greatly diminished RuZZia. But at least PooTin's political survival will remain intact, even as the RuZZian economy enters a severe post-war depression.
The problem is that PooTin himself still thinks that a sovereign, democratic, and now heavily militarized Ukraine could, at any point in time, serve as a launchpad for an invasion into the RuZZian motherland.
Never mind the fact that he, the mAsTeR sTrAtEgIsT, was responsible for creating this threat. Never mind the fact that he, the mAsTeR sTrAtEgIsT, was also responsible for expanding NATO and convincing them to spend more on their own defense.
And that's the problem. PooTin is a scared, paranoid little bitch who cannot emerge from his bubble of alternate reality. He already lost in Ukraine. He's not man enough to admit it.
