As one having a good number of college hours behind me, I will say it is mostly overrated. Compared with the experience of actually doing things.

In my experience university education dulls the innate creativity most of us are born with. I would exempt math from that complaint, as most people lack the intuition to learn it on their own. I practiced classical piano for decades. But there are 6 year olds with tiny hands who can outperform me at my best ever.

Sandy is a talent, for sure.
