Yea,

Not much lives thru snow on top of it.

I pulled the garden one day ahead of the frost coming tonight.

Today I'll make a last batch of salsa grind up my jalapenos (I got 4 bushels of them) - best crop ever! Harris seed sells a seed called "Everman" - huge and tasty jalapenos. I mixed and watered weekly with Alaska fish fertilizer, and that was the difference. Will repeat again. They get so laden with peppers that I used tomato cages to hold them up!

I also got a bushel of Soranno peppers, and a bushel of sweet green peppers "Big Bertha" seeds.

I worked much more on weeding and fertilizing and it resulted in bumper crops. I also tilled in Sphagnum peat moss and Black cow compost in my raised beds.

Waiting for Halloween to harvest the squash and display the pumpkins. It was a fun summer!

I'm going to give some of my jalapenos to my favorite watering holes for some poppers during the next Packer football games.

I agree with your view on the buck. The dollar debasement on a 38 trillion dollar debt at 5% is a 1.9 trillion winner for the government only.

I think Bessent has it correct: If we just reduce government expenditures in the real economy' as a percent of GDP, we'll have lower rates on that debt.

A debt reduction would rebuild the value of the Dollar and or the accumulation of more gold.

I think it is wiser to reduce debt vs. pay record highs on the price of gold.

I much prefer paying down U.S. debt vs. handing out checks to people who don't pay taxes (after the earned interest credit returns everything they paid in plus more).

No one likes to talk about that.

Bob
