On renewing subscriptions, I am not going to renew my Bloomberg subscription next year. There are a lot of good free news sources. I will keep a few other paid subscriptions.

Kitco has an interesting interview just posted on their website with a bullion dealer who I am not familiar with. He is saying this correction is like many we have seen before and is not the end of this move. Buying this dip is a sensible move, but if one had no position in the metals, it is best to be careful of what to buy, as always. He gave the example that some dealers encourage buying rare coins as they get the highest premium on them. For a newbie investor to this sector, buying the regular coins and blue chips metals stocks might be a better place to start as people start to follow the new 60-20-20 portfolio.
