I agree with you about the "Gee-whizzy" flare of the Mercury article (as well as the cheesy descriptions within it--photoresist is nothing like paint). You listed some losers, so let me give you the obvious winner: Cymer. I'm saying this even though I sold my Cymer this morning (sell on hype, but actually I think Cymer is in good shape--I just wanted to get into something else). . .

Personally, just like IBM's copper interconnect release, I think this release is getting too much exposure. Show me those 0.08u lines. Then show me those the edges near corners, some intersecting lines, active devices, etc. . .Devil's in the details.
