I got the Costco deal book for all the specials they'll run between now and the end of the year, and it's chock full of zero deals. Oh, Kleenex are on sale. That's about it. The problem is tariffs. They make everything more expensive. I looked at DeWalt 20-Volt Drill Drivers last night on Amazon. They've been $99 for 3-years. They're now $119.99 now because of tariffs and only tariffs. That also doesn't capture the full cost of the tariffs. The factory is nearly certain they'll get the tariffs refunded, so they're passing along only about 1/2 of the added costs. Meantime, the consumers get hosed. Most are too dumb to even notice. I guess that's what the administration was hoping for.
