I'm going forward with building a position in CAIE, but I do note that the reference index is a lot more volatile than SPY and it looks like a 20% drop in SPY could cause a 40% or more drop in MQUSLVA. However, since they are purchasing an additional autocallable each week I think you would only have a few that were purchased at the peak that would be negatively affected, and that would only happen if it was more than 40% below on the observation dates. Most of my portfolio is in taxable accounts, so the ROC is exactly what I need.
