CJ, it's pretty bad how the average Chinese citizen views America. They are fed a steady stream of disinformation. They think all of our cities are crime-ridden hellholes where it is completely unsafe to walk down the street, especially as an Asian. They think everyone and their brother openly carries AR-15s on them. And now with Trump and his merry band of ICE thugs, they think every foreigner is harassed, even those who carry their passports on them at all times. Now with the detention of the Hyundai engineers in Georgia, these images are making its way into Korean social media. I don't blame them one bit if they never want to step foot in America while the Mango Mussolini is in power. Tenchusatsu P.S. - My wife and I have started sounding like our parents when it comes to discussing Korean politics. We still remember the dark era of Chun Doo-Hwan and how he had Korea in a vice-grip of authoritarianism.
