If you own a corporation, even an inactive shell, and didn't file your annual taxform electronically, the federal government is charging you a $1000 penalty with interest, even if the business and no sales or profits in the year. This charge comes even if they never advised you in the mail or email that you would get this charge if didn't file electronically. Remember the postal strike last christmas.
