From Facebook:

“Let’s just stop pretending for one goddamn second that Donald Trump is ever going away. He’s not. The parasite has burrowed so deep into America’s bloodstream that he’s practically rewriting our DNA. The Founders warned us about this, tyranny doesn’t arrive wearing a red armband; it shows up in a golf cart, waving a flag, and grinning like a bloated messiah.

Now Steve Bannon, Trump’s spiritual tapeworm and chief fascist hype man, is openly promising that Trump will get a third term. Not hypothetically. Not “if the people will it.” No, he’s “gonna get a third term,” as if the 22nd Amendment is just a minor inconvenience, a speed bump on the road to dictatorship. And he said it straight-faced, like we’re all just supposed to “get accommodated with that.”

The Constitution, that sacred, blood-soaked parchment we love to romanticize, is being treated like a hotel policy Trump plans to “renegotiate.”

And of course, the bloated orange oracle himself is already teasing “methods” to make it happen. Maybe JD Vance wins and “hands it back.” Maybe the Supreme Court, his personal Politburo, declares him “uniquely indispensable.” Maybe they just keep counting until the math works. The specifics don’t matter. What matters is that this man has never accepted limits, not of law, not of decency, not of reality.

This isn’t new. It’s not shocking. It’s the goddamn plan. He’s been saying it since 2016. Every press conference, every rally, every deranged Truth Social post was part of the buildup to this moment, a slow, fascist crescendo disguised as patriotism. And now, with a neutered Congress, a morally bankrupt Supreme Court, and a base that worships him like a golden calf covered in Big Macs, he sees no reason to stop.

Remember his first press conference of 2025? The “preamble,” as I like to call it, the soft launch of American autocracy. The man laid it out plain: subjugate the poor, enrich the wealthy, muzzle the press, criminalize dissent. It was Heritage Foundation fan fiction come to life, Project 2025, the fascist wet dream five decades in the making.

And while the headlines obsess over tariffs and deportations, the real carnage is happening quietly, in the boardrooms, the courts, the backrooms where democracy dies in committee. They’re dismantling labor protections, gutting environmental law, privatizing everything that’s not nailed down. Highways, airwaves, water, justice, it’s all for sale, baby. Trump’s America is a fire sale for billionaires, and the rest of us are the ash.

And now they’re openly looking to Russia, Russia as a model. An oligarchic template for America’s future. Authoritarian capitalism wrapped in the flag. Corruption sanctified by religion. Power without accountability. Trump looks at Putin and sees not a tyrant, but a peer.

And why wouldn’t he? The Supreme Court just gave him the golden ticket: near-total immunity for “official acts.” Translation, the president can commit crimes as long as he calls them policy. It’s the judicial equivalent of handing a loaded gun to a toddler and saying, “Just be careful.”

So here we are, teetering on the edge of the third term of Donald J. Trump, the Dictator Who Wouldn’t Leave. And the worst part? The apathy. The shoulder-shrugging, both-sides fatalism that says, “Oh, he’ll never really do that.”He already is. The threat isn’t coming, it’s here.

If you’ve never marched before, march now. If you’ve never spoken out, speak now. If you’ve been waiting for the line that cannot be crossed, congratulations, it’s behind us.

Trump has made it clear that he intends to rule until they pry the nuclear codes from his cold, orange hands. And Bannon and his army of theocrats are more than happy to rewrite the Constitution to make it so.

This isn’t politics anymore. It’s a coup with better branding.

And silence, your silence, my silence, the media’s cowardly silence, is exactly what he’s counting on.”
